The objective of Pension Transfers (AF7) is to develop the specialist knowledge and skills needed for advising on the transfer of safeguarded benefits. The unit brings you up to date with the fundamental aspects of the pension transfer process; the implications of transferring between different types of pensions; and develops your advice skills across a range of client circumstances and scenarios. 

Your Workshop will cover:

1. Exam technique
2. DB advice process
3. CETV and APTA considerations and process
4. Factors to consider with DB transfers
5. Risks associated with DB transfers
6. DB and DC pension death benefits
7. Practice case studies and short answer questions

This workshop is delivered online, via Zoom over one full day.

Your trainer is highly experienced and qualified in the subject matter, and as importantly, in how to deliver an effective and productive online interactive training session, ensuring all candidates are fully engaged and maximise the learning experience.

Your workshop will be interactive, with the use of screen share, virtual whiteboards, polls/quizzes and breakout rooms for smaller group discussions. You will also receive a recording of the entire workshop post course, along with all supporting documents used.

The maximum continuous screen time during any session will be 45 minutes and the day will have plenty of breaks.
